Tucked along 12 St NE near McKnight Boulevard, our journey began as Tropical Delight Noodles House before we rebranded in 2015 as "Mamak Dang" — Malay for "Mama's Business" — a nod to the warm, home-style cooking that defines us. Inspired by the beloved "mamak" street stalls of Malaysia, every bowl is built on bold, layered Southeast Asian flavour.

" Five of us went to Mamak Dang for dinner. We had the chicken spring rolls, shrimp spring rolls and satay chicken skewers to start, then the coconut tom yum soup, laksa special noodle soup, rendang beef and chicken curry. All the servings were huge and the food and service were very good. "
